About Flyful
Our Journey: From Vision to Impact
Flyful Farms was established in 2020 by visionary founder David Ochieng, whose deep expertise in rearing Black Soldier Flies (BSF) laid the foundation for a business rooted in innovation, sustainability, and community empowerment. Initially focused on selling BSF starter kits and providing hands-on training to small-scale farmers, David’s mission was clear: to democratize access to sustainable farming solutions and uplift local agricultural practices.
Commercial Expansion and Market Leadership
In 2025, Flyful Farms took a major leap forward with the acquisition of a one-acre plot in Migori, Kenya, marking the beginning of its commercial expansion. This strategic move positioned the company as a rising market leader in the production of high-quality animal feeds, as well as organic frass and fertilizer—products that are both environmentally responsible and economically viable.
Today, Flyful Farms is proud to be recognized as a key player in Kenya’s agribusiness landscape, with a growing reputation for excellence, innovation, and impact.
Pan-African Ambitions
Looking ahead, Flyful Farms is setting its sights on becoming the leading animal feed producer across Africa. Plans are underway to establish multiple production facilities in strategically selected locations throughout the continent, enabling streamlined access to international markets and reinforcing our commitment to regional development.
